Diablo 2 1.13d

So I got inspired by MrLlama to play some Diablo II with PlugY. I've never used PlugY before, and I'm having trouble installing it. When I download the D2 and LoD installers from the Battle.net site, they'll give me version 1.14D. PlugY refuses to run on anything higher than 1.13D. I've tried downgrading, but I keep killing my game every time (blank error messages and refusal to run). I've tried using D2SE Mod Manager, but it refuses to run (It just gives me 1.14B for some reason). I REALLY don't feel like going through my storage in the basement to look for my old CD's so I can install them and then upgrade that install to 1.13C.

Is there an easier way to downgrade 1.14D to 1.13C or to obtain older install files? Instructions to get 1.13 version of Diablo II: 1.

Begin by uninstalling any 1.14 version of Diablo II from your computer. Now download the Diablo II Installer from one of the links below:.

Download from Mega.nz:. Download from Google Drive:. Download as Torrent: 3. Now open the 'Original' folder first and then launch the Installer file. It will require a legit CD key acquired from battlenet website. If you already own the game, login to battle.net and find Diablo II in your game's list to get your key.

Otherwise purchase one from the store. After you've entered your key and continued on with the installation process, you can repeat the same process but this time with the expansion found in the 'Expansion' folder. This will require a Lord of Destruction key (that's a different key from the previous one).

Run this in your Diablo II folder. Update: This screwed up my install. I can't run any Diablo 2 installer anymore- either the 1.13c or the download from battle.net. When I run the installer (either version), a pop up shows up to 'Play Diablo II' but doesn't do anything.

1.14d Diablo 2 Patch Download

I'm glad that I made a copy of my original Diablo II 1.14d directory that was sitting in my Program Files(x86) directory so that I can still play. I'm now unable to install any version of Diablo II. I've searched around on the internet and people have reported this issue in the past. The fix to that would be to re-install my Operating System. I don't want to have to re-install my OS because it is too disruptive. I've got other programs besides Diablo that I don't want to have to install all over again. Just to make sure, the uninstaller that I used was the one found in Windows 10's Control Panel-Programs and Features-Then under the 'Uninstall or change a program' list, I selected Diablo II and uninstalled.

Was that the uninstaller you were referring to? If not, which uninstaller were you referring to? I suspect that using that uninstaller broke it. The Diablo II installer for 1.13c or 1.14d probably thinks I didn't uninstall the program so some file somewhere indicates that it is still installed. The plugy site seems to be down not showing up for me on google search results. There are links to each patch installation there.

You just extract whatever version you want to play into your diablo 2 folder and that's it. I have the files saved on a usb stick. I could upload them for you and give you a link let me know. You could also use a program Gomule to store your items in a endless stash. It is much easier to search for items in gomule.

I use plugy to enable ladder only runewords, dclone and torches, but I still prefer gomule for its search features. Edit: I just did a search on Edge and the plugy site came up. Scroll down to the bottom of the page you will see official LOD patches and below that you will see another set of patches useful for rollbacks. Just extract and done if you are reverting to an older patch.

WARNING - this erases all of your character files Hi everyone! I normally play over TCP/IP using glide and I accidentally clicked on battlenet, forcing my game to patch to 1.14. Without glide, the game is virtually unplayable for my summon necro, getting 2-5 fps during battles. I want to downgrade to 1.13d while 1.14 is being sorted out.

However, the video test file disappeared, so using previous guides for downgrading from 1.13d to 1.13c (like this one: won't work. Has anyone figured out how to downgrade from 1.14 to 1.13d without reinstalling? Some info why this method isn't working for everyone. If you upgrade from a previous version using an offline game 'PATCH', or log into battle.net which automatically upgrades your version, the method posted above WILL work. If you register on battle.net and download the full offline game 'INSTALLER' after version 1.14b, this method of downgrading won't work.

The new offline game 'INSTALLER' modifies a couple of mpq files that make them incompatible to previous versions of the game. Updated some info for accuracy.
